RAJESH KRIPALANI: Educational Philosophy

As an educator, I believe in equity in education, that all students can and will learn, and that it is for me to facilitate that learning according to different learning styles and preferences. As an avid follower of current research in educational leadership and management, I look for opportunities to inform practice – and work with teachers and learners to embed ICT in curriculum management with the twin objectives of capacity building among the former and creating lifelong learners of the latter. Having spent the last few years in a multicultural and international setting, steeped in the core values of the IBO that I have imbibed during my work with CAS, TOK and EE, I feel committed to promoting the same values.

NATASHA MARY D’COSTA: Educational Philosophy

I believe in a dynamic classroom where every child is unique, working collaboratively to build on individual strengths and developing prerequisite skills and attitudes for lifelong learning. As a teacher, I believe in facilitating this journey for learners and empowering colleagues to respect differences in dealing with differentiated learning.

I am particularly happy to endorse his professionalism, having seen first hand, how he has steadily earned the respect of all who know him, both as a human being and as a school master of sensitivity, common sense and commitment.

Abha Adams, Director: The Shree Ram School, New Delhi

Her calm manner and soft-spoken voice immediately puts all students at ease, and yet she maintains consistent standards of high expectations for the students with whom she works. whether she is working in a small group or an individual, each student gets the maximum of individual attention.

Shirley L. Collins, Elementary School Principal, American School Bombay

The ease and comfort with which she relates with children both inside and outside the class has helped to build an excellent rapport with them. While this has ensure vibrant participants within the class, it has also encouraged popular mobbing by students outside the class, seeking guidance and counsel from her…

She is a talented individual who can bring to bear shades of music, poetry and theatre to create a remarkable quality of experience for the children. While mature to know the should’s from the shouldn’t, she is always willing to play with the maybe’s. You will never find her shying away from using her speculative license.

…dedicated and proficient in her subject; patience and compassion were strong points…
