My name is Mark Webber and I currently teach IB Theatre, Stagecraft, and Acting as well as serving as the Performing Arts Coordinator and Theater Manager at The International School of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. My wife and I are relocating next year. We have no other dependents. In addition to the subjects listed above I have taught both high school and middle school. I have also taught Debate and Public Speaking in the past.
I have a very strong commitment to extra curricular activities. Currently, I am serving as Thespian Sponsor, oversee the technical construction of all HS and MS productions, direct plays, serve on the administrative team for The SEA Forensics Tournament (The largest HS tournament in Asia), coach the Debate team, edit and publish the Malaysian Educational Theatre Newsletter, and have founded The Malaysian Forensics Association. Occasionally I get to play golf.
I feel that I am a very hard worker and strong team leader with good organizational and communication skills. The two areas that I teach, Debate and Theatre, are also my hobbies so I spend quite a bit of time reading and seeing plays as well as reading about politics and philosophy. I am looking for a position that will allow me to lead or assist in these areas. Please note that my wife, who is an ace Biology and Environmental Science teacher will taking the next year off to finish her online Master's Degree. After that she will be available for employment.
If you have a position open for which I would be qualified, please contact
